Got a great car wash on my truck. Halfway through I noticed a cable swinging off my truck and the wash broke the cable to my external antenna on my truck. Manegment could only say sorry that it happened to me. Don’t come here unless you want aftermarket items damaged

Whistle Express Car Wash (formerly Fins) is my go-to for keeping my car looking great.
As a local realtor, I need my vehicle to stay spotless for clients, and their locations in West Ashley and James Island make it super convenient.
The wash is quick, and the free vacuums and towels are a nice bonus. I also love the Unlimited Wash Club. It’s totally worth it if you wash your car often.
The staff is always friendly, and the service is reliable. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a clean car without the hassle!

I’ve been a loyal customer at this car wash, coming once a week without fail. However, after today’s experience, I’ll never be coming back. The machine took my $50, and when I asked for help, I was simply told to “call the owner tomorrow.” That’s completely unacceptable. No effort was made to resolve the issue on the spot, and I was left without my $50. I paid for my car wash with credit card but never got the $50 back.
It’s incredibly frustrating to support a business regularly, only to be treated this way when something goes wrong. A business should stand by its customers, especially those who visit frequently. Unfortunately, this car wash has lost mine for good.

Had to go through wash twice and still didn’t clean my car fully. Seems like prices get raised every other month and no increase in quality. Mat cleaners are worthless.

The guy taking the cards at the payment kiosk was super rude. I usually insert my card and chose my type of wash, but he happened to be there and I wasn’t sure if it was broken or what, but he helped the car in front of me. As I approached the screen, he went on a rant “you guys are really spoiled….something about the cars are always backed into the street (but they weren’t at the time I arrived). I work customer service in a wealthy area (Mt. Pleasant/Daniel Island) and I know what it’s like dealing with “spoiled” people and I would never say something like that to one of my customers. It’s super unprofessional. The whole interaction left a really bad taste in my mouth. This place is super convenient for me, but I honestly don’t know if I will be back.
