My two children have been studying at Charleston Academy of Music for almost 8 years, we are so impressed with the teachers and the facilities. They are so professional, all with high expertise and achievement in music career, yet so patient and skillful in teaching children. Both of my children love their teachers so much. My son has graduated Charleston School of Art high school and Irina Pevzner was an exceptional piano tutor who has truly inspired and influenced him during the school. Her teaching style was both patient and engaging, and she tailored each lesson to suit his learning pace. Under her guidance, he has made remarkable progress in playing the piano, but in his overall confidence. Irina’s passion for teaching and her dedication to her students are evident in every lesson. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring piano teacher!
My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Dr. Irina Pevzner at Charleston Academic of Music since 2013. Vanessa has learned a lot from Dr. Pevzner and continues to still enjoy learning with Dr. Pevzner. Charleston Academy of Music provides students with many opportunities to perform as well as to participate in competitions. Dr. Pevzner is a wonderful music teacher. She is always working hard to make sure her students achieve their goals. We greatly appreciate Dr. Pevzner and CAM for teaching my daughter for over ten years with lot of love and care!
I've had the privilege of studying at the Charleston Academy of Music under Dr. Irina Pevzner for several years, and it has been an extraordinary journey. Dr. Pevzner is truly a musical genius whose caring and thoughtful approach to the piano and teaching continually challenges me to grow as a pianist and musician. She balances musicality and technique perfectly, guiding her students to mastery while also encouraging their unique musical expression. The CAM community provides a supportive environment with numerous opportunities for performance and learning. I'm immensely grateful for my time at CAM and highly recommend it for anyone looking to develop their musical skills.
Studying piano with Dr. Irina Pevzner at the Charleston Academy of Music was an absolute joy. Her thoughtful approach to teaching is unparalleled, and taking lessons with her was easily one of the best parts of my middle and high school years. I am so grateful to Dr. Pevzner and the Academy for such an incredible experience. The Academy has truly top-notch instructors and provides a nurturing learning environment for their students.
