Food was good- pepperoni and basil on gluten free crust & another pepperoni on regular crust. Pizza is wood fired and has that thin crust, rustic, floury thing going on. The kids tried the hot honey on theirs and loved it! The meat and cheese board was good as well. We went on a weekend and there was competing music between here and the bar across the street, lots of people, lots of kids playing on the playground in the seating area.

Today we visited the pizzeria not for the first time, but we encountered such horror, such awfulness for the first time. The pizza was not just overcooked, it was completely burnt both on top and bottom. The vegetables and meat were completely dried out. Thanks to the staff for promptly refunding us for the ruined dinner without any questions.

The best ending to a peaceful day spent swimming in the ocean while it rained, was coming here, ordering a pizza and a beer, and having great conversation with the bartender! It was so relaxing, the food was absolutely delicious, and they even have their own ice cream place right next door! Highly suggest after a day at the beach or on shem creek!

I ordered the rigatoni a la vodka for $18 and when we got home and opened the box, the photo shows the amount of foot given.
I called and was told that the right serving size was given. The manager on shift indicated that they weigh each serving and the amount of pasta was and should be 6 oz. He indicated that most people are satisfied with the quantity and that there was nothing he could do. I’m very disappointed with the amount of pasta considering the price. Coastal Crust has always been hit or miss with service and food for us. We will definitely be sticking with Mondos from now on.

*review for the gluten free pizza*
I got the gluten free Mushroom Nero pizza. When I got my pizza the toppings were very sparse and they completely forgot to add the picked red onion. There were maybe 5 pieces of mushroom on the entire pizza. The crust itself was burnt, not charred. Overall the pizza had a weird rubbery, gummy consistency. I've been gluten free for almost 10 years and have tried countless gluten free pizzas in my time. This one has to rank in the bottom three. The place itself is cute though.
