Such a disappointing and aggravating experience. I spoke up multiple times, at every step, to the point where I felt uncomfortable. For the price, I expected quality technicians. For my acrylic set, she filed them significantly shorter than we agreed on, probably 1/2 the length. The majority are crooked, they are all different lengths, some are lumpy, and one hand is noticeably shorter than the other. It was awkward how many times I had to ask her to correct the shape.I was not satisfied at all when she finished but felt that I had spoken up as much as I could and did not want them redone by her. What am I supposed to do in that situation? They CHARGE EXTRA for shape, length, and gel. The website says $50 for an acrylic set but unless you get square with regular polish, expect $80+. At first glance they are a decent set of nails, but if I am paying more for the shape it should reflect that. They kindly removed the shape charge from my bill because of the obvious problems, but nonetheless I spent over $70 on this fugly set. Don’t get me wrong it’s not a horrible set but it is not at all how it started. The price does not match the quality of work and the experience was stressful.
I have been going to Majestic for a few years. The previous owners were great and I always felt like I was around family when I went in. Honestly, I was slightly hesitate when the new staff and owners took over, however, I was not disappointed. I have been twice since and have had a great experience both times. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Amanda is very personable and is very knowledgeable on services offered. Laura did my nails the first time I was in and did a great job. I did break a nail due to my occupation and I was able to get in quickly to get a fix by the manager, Angie and she also suggested a different type of manicure that might be better suited due to my occupation. Today, I went in for hard gel and Sandi did an amazing job! Highly recommend this salon still! I appreciate the attention to detail as I can be a bit particular with my nails.The techs have listened and taken care, especially when I mentioned have sensitive skin. Pricing is fair and the techs do a wonderful job. I look forward to returning next month!
I'm so glad I found majestic nails. They accommodate walk ins, have a huge variety of colors and the service is excellent. The owners have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to unwind and get my nails done. My nails always look amazing and the dip manicure lasts for 3+ weeks (as seen in the photo I posted) without my nails getting brittle or chipping. Highly recommend to anyone in Charleston!
My first time walking into Majestic I was so impressed by the customer service I received and the quality of my services. I was happy to find a place to get my nails done as well as having esthetician services available. My facial was amazing and my esthetician was very knowledgeable. They offer hydro facials which BLEW ME AWAY! My skin felt amazing afterwards. They answered all my questions and were so helpful in picking the nail service that would work best for me. I highly highly recommend all the ladies at majestic.
I’ve had great experiences here, genuinely the best nail services I’ve received. Benz and Mimi have an amazing attention to detail, have the best technique for application I’ve received, and are incredibly kind and welcoming! Most salons I’ve been to I’ve left somewhat disappointed or have paid quite a lot for inferior services. Benz recently completely reshaped and fixed a GelX set I got from The Best Nail Bar, where I paid way too much money for a pretty busted looking manicure, and easily achieved my desired preferences (natural, slim, short) without making me feel like I was asking for too much. Majestic’s prices are fair and are well worth the quality they deliver. Thank you guys!!
