If I could give them more than 5 Stars, I would! This is my first time to do business with this EXCELLENT team: Skip, Q & Sam! Very professional, efficient, polite and such a great teamwork! They loaded things very tight in the PODS and the most important thing was they handle with care, and ensured protections in place to keep items not being damaged unlike some other movers would just throw things in and called it good! Strongly recommended! ***Signed: Very Happy customer! ***

Johnny, David & John came this morning to move us out of our 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome. They moved all of our belongings into a storage facility until we get situated in our new location. I am so happy with the work these 3 men did! They were absolutely FANTASTIC! They were super friendly, worked great together and we were completely moved out in an hour. They even moved our washing machine. They were really affordable as well. Well worth every penny! I am so happy we decided to go with low country moving specialists for this move and highly recommend them for anyone!

I recently used Low Country Movers for the 2nd time for my move, and while the experience wasn't perfect, it had its positives. The Downsides: Punctuality: Unfortunately, the crew arrived much later than expected, which put a damper on the moving day schedule. In a hurry to get out: In their rush to catch up, the movers seemed a bit hurried at times, which resulted in a few minor stains to furniture. I also had an hour left in the time I paid for. I couldn’t get downstairs before 3 team members were out the door. Cleanliness Concerns: There were also some instances where the movers' hands left visible dirt marks on lighter colored furniture. Despite these shortcomings, I have to give credit where it's due. The moving crew themselves were all very friendly and helpful. They were courteous and answered any questions I had throughout the process. They also worked efficiently once they got going, and everything was loaded with Care. Overall: While the lateness and minor damage were frustrating, the positive attitude and effort of the crew helped balance things out. If punctuality and pristine handling are your top priorities, you might want to consider other options. However, if you're looking for a cost effective move with a friendly team, Lowcountry movers might be worth a shot, with the caveat that you are not getting white glove service. Just make sure you are spot on with the hours you book. They do not give you your money back if you don’t use your full time.

Based on a lot of positive reviews, I thought I was getting a good moving company to move my furniture from one house to another 1 hour apart. Dealing with David at the office to schedule the move was an easy process. My issues are with what happened to my furniture during the move. I was definitely concerned when I saw that they did not wrap any of my furniture in moving blankets as it has always been done in the past moves. The only thing they did was to shrink wrap pieces that had drawers or doors. I was asked to put pillows in garbage bags as they did not want to take the time or the material to shrink wrap my upholstered furniture. Unfortunately because they did not wrap my furniture in blankets, when they were removing a $2000+ buffet off of the truck they lost grip of it and it fell against the truck damaging it in multiple places. This piece was a hand-painted Ethan Allen piece that can’t easily be just touched up/fixed. Not only was it dented and scratched it was done so at the very front and middle of the piece, very visible. Their only solution was to send a repair person who can touch up the damage and fix up to a charge of $150, or if I wanted to replace the piece I would have to pay a $1000 deductible. I’m extremely disappointed that the crew did not take the proper care of my furniture and caused the damage and I basically have no recourse. If you have any good or valuable pieces of furniture I suggest you find another company that takes the care to protect it when it’s moving so that if mishaps happen most damage will be mitigated.
