This place from the outside looked a little sketchy and we almost missed it because it was so dark. It had that old school bowling alley vibes, although the bathroom looked like it was the most updated area. We were apart of a private party that had bought out the lanes which was nice because we didn’t have to wait. So I can’t speak for pricing on the games or food. I’ve had some decent food at other bowling alleys, (quesadillas, grilled cheeses and simple things) But the food was extremely underwhelming. I understand that it’s not going to be gourmet or anything high end, but everything was just so dry, overcooked and plain. I could not enjoy the mozzarella sticks or even the tenders bc they were not enjoyable. I will say we didn’t have any issues with the lanes at all, balls or lanes never got stuck which was nice. The staff were also friendly so they the experience better. I’ve just been to better bowling alleys in other states. Not sure if I will come back but I did at least enjoy the actual bowling aspect with friends.
THEE go-to alley. My husband and I love this place and would come here to bowl all the time. The lanes were great, staff was amazing from the desk, to the pro shop, even the bar staff! The atmosphere is always great to be in. Unfortunately we moved out of Charleston, but we will return soon. We love Ashley Lanes and HIGHLY recommend it! ❤️
LEAGUE ONLY! CUSTOMERS NOT WELCOME! I have gone 3 different occasions, on 3 different times, on 3 different nights. Went right after work, sorry league. Went later in the evening, sorry league. They don't care about normal customers. I will never be returning. I won't be a fool again. ALSO WHO USES FACEBOOK? It might be slightly better if the league schedule was easier to see... then maybe I could plan accordingly. But as I said, they don't care about customers.
Overall good place was able to have a good time with friends. But still feels very old and outdated, along with no prices listed anywhere because they don't want to admit that they charge an arm and a leg (f75$ for three games)
My game was abruptly ended during the 3rd frame this past Sunday afternoon.Front sign displayed “free bowling on Saturday and Sunday “. Apparently not this particular Sunday. I inquired with the girl at the front desk as to the sudden lane closure, I assumed it was a simple error. She stated “I TOLD YOU that we are closed at 4:30 for a private party “. She did not, which implies that I am either an idiot and /or incapable of absorbing basic information. When I asked her for compensation of the game that I didn’t get to roll she said “they never give refunds”. I was charged for a service that was not rendered. Bowl at your own risk and be prepared for RUDE employees at the front desk.
