We had an amazing experience at Breakout Charleston! My husband and I have done around 80 escape rooms, and we would highly recommend all of their rooms. We did Serial Killer first, and it was great! The theming in all the rooms were fantastic, but this one was my favorite of their rooms. All the puzzles flowed nicely, and the hints that our game master provided were on point, just enough of a nudge that we needed! The next room we did was Escaping Death Row. Super fun puzzles in this prison themed room. There is a really clever puzzle in this room that was a little more challenging if you don't follow the directions! The last room, Wild West Heist, while not more of the traditional escape room with locks and combos, was still a lot of fun! Our game master, Frankie, was phenomenal! His wife was also a total sweetheart! She shared some dinner recommendations since we were visiting from out of town for our anniversary. Overall, we would highly recommend Breakout Charleston!!
Went here last night with my lady and we chose the "serial killer" room. It was honestly a cool experience and the staff member there was nice enough. The one thing that keeps it from a five star is that, the staff member didn't remember to cater our room for two people. This had us stuck on one of the first clues for at least a quarter of our time. Seeing that we didn't get out it kind of hit harder that they forgot. ASK them if they have to do anything special for two people, so this doesn't happen to you!
SUCH A GREAT TIME!!! We've tried all the rooms and LOVE them all. Tyler was amazing and so welcoming.
My family and I had an an awesome time. We did the escape room with the wild west theme. It was designed by a Disney imagineer and it definitely delivered a great experience. 10/10 would go again!
So much fun! We did the Wild West room. It was much harder than we anticipated and didn't get the golden nugget, but we were so close! Highly recommend for a date night or fun group activity with friends.
