Me and my group did Time Traveler Escape Games in downtown Charleston and it was the best time ever to say the least! The games was so much fun and the scenery along the way of the game was beautiful. We learned a little about the history of Charleston and got to meet at some great food and drink spots as well! Meghan was an absolute joy to talk to and an excellent host for the game! She’s the best. I highly recommend this as a cool activity to get everyone out and moving and having a guaranteed good time! Loved it!😊
This is an experience you HAVE to do - we had an absolute blast! My husband and I really enjoy escape rooms and this really blew us out of the water. It was such a good combination of Charleston's history, good drinks and a lot of laughs along the way. Meghan made everything very clear and was a delight to communicate with. You will NOT be disappointed!!
My family and I vacationed in Charleston and enjoy doing escape rooms. We came across Time Traveler and thought it was such a fresh idea to do an escape set outdoors that incorporated history of the area. It was so much fun, and such a wonderful way to experience Charleston while sparking conversation about history and getting to mix with people socially out and about! Absolutely recommend doing this escape! Be prepared to walk and sweat, but the experience is worth it! Thanks Time Traveler for making our day a wonderful one!
We had a lot of fun. Felt like a good mixture of feeling pretty smart and then also dumb. A good challenge! Thanks to Sean for his patience!
We did the apothecary room with 4 people. It was really fun. Ultimately we solved the puzzles, but we did need one clue about 40 minutes into the game. if you are older like me, bring your glasses and phone light since the room is not super bright and you do need to read things. What worked for us was constant communication. We kept everyone engaged and up to speed with what we were discovering in the room. The host was super nice and helpful which really made our experience fun. Instead of letting us flounder around she gave us little prompts to keep us on track, but not spoil the challenges. You could do this room with 3 people and maybe 5, but more than that would be too much. This was the first escape room for some of us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We definitely will do it again, and recommend this place. They have a restroom and drinks and snacks if you need them.
