Our early-morning debarking meant that we needed some food before we started our 4 hour drive back to the other side of South Carolina.
I Google “Charleston Breakfast” and “Toast! All Day” came up… Please note: this is NOT a breakfast place.😅 I googled again and got Big Bad Breakfast! So off we went to try this new-to-us local restaurant.
I loved this place as soon as we drove up. The decor is casual, colorful, and unique. 🥰
The bathrooms were clean.💯
Our food was tasty and filling- they even had a wonderful gluten-free bread. 😋
Out of the 4 of us, three had skillets and one had biscuits and gravy.
The downside…
The service was a little slow, but our waitress was friendly… just didn’t see her much. We had to ask a different waiter to fix the cold biscuits and gravy since no one stopped by to ask how our meals were. Overall, we enjoyed our delicious meal, but I just didn’t get the warm fuzzies from any of the workers. 🤷🏻♀️
I would give them another try since you just never know if a team is having a rough day.💜

I thought the food was great, I got the omelette with shrimp, the sauce was amazing. Was kind of weird that the breakfast food came with a salad on the side. My breakfast date was not too thrilled when she found out they put mushrooms in the food, after she asked for no mushrooms. The servers were very nice and down to earth about the food. The spicy bacon was yummy, but not worth $5 for three pieces.

This is by far the best breakfast we have ever had! We ordered fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, coffee, cranberry juice, flapjacks, cathead chicken biscuit, oyster scramble, yard work skillet, spicy bacon, biscuits and gravy, and their homemade hot sauce. Our waitress, Destiny, was phenomenal! She even brought over their homemade strawberry, peach, and blueberries jellies to try with my homemade biscuit. Highly recommend and wish we lived closer!

It was our first time visiting, and we were really impressed. The food was so good, the menu was creative and funny, and our waitress was kind and helpful. Breakfast burritos are usually my go-to, and their 'burrito not burrito' gangster style was at the top of the list of best breakfast burritos I've had. Fresh squeezed orange juice is also a go-to, and theirs was delicious. Oh, and housemade crema and jalapeño hot sauce - yes. Will be back for sure!

We had breakfast here on our second day in town. Our server, Hayley, was very nice. Her attitude was energetic and she was very helpful. I ordered the French toast and bacon. The French toast was amazing, and the bacon was perfectly the way I like it. Not crispy but flimsy just not too much… just not too flimsy. I also ordered a biscuit with a side of gravy. It was the perfect blend. The biscuit was soft and fluffy. and the gravy was seasoned of perfection. I was upset I didn’t get to go back again before we left, but we’ll definitely make sure to hit it on the next trip.
