Tasty! Heard this place was good and it didn’t much disappoint. The customer service was great, it resonated like a mom & pop shop. I ordered takeout so I didn’t spend much time in the restaurant. It is a bit small, though they have some outdoor seating. I chose to take the rib sandwich. It was basic, no special sauce or ingredients. The bun was very soft which made the sandwich very soggy. My partner had the ribs which were delicious! The sides we had were the collard greens, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. The mac was alright but the beans and collard greens were tasty!

We live in Florida and my husband had watched a special on CBS’s The Dish featuring the restaurant and then he went out and bought the cookbook, so it was a Must Visit!
We were taking a road trip from Long Island back to Florida and had to stop in.
Wow! It did not disappoint!!
I am a southern girl and have been eating hush puppies my entire life and I asked the girl at the counter which should I get the hush puppies or the cornbread and she said hush puppies, I said Hook me up! Hands down, the Absolute best hush puppies I have ever had in my entire life!!!! Mac and cheese was to die for and the collards were heavenly! It goes without saying that the BBQ was outstanding and the smoked wings were off the chain with the Carolina white sauce.

Our dinner here was a delight! Good food, fast service and cute restaurant. Order at the counter, pick a spot either indoors or out and they'll deliver to your table. It's a pretty big menu so it's a good idea to check it out before you go. The combo platters seemed like a very reasonable deal and good sized portions. Though they ran out of brisket (we were there late on a Saturday night), the wings were excellent. Nice a crispy outside, juicy on the inside.

I was disappointed in the food at Rodney Scott’s BBQ. I ordered Rod’s pulled pork plate, Mac n cheese, baked beans and cornbread. First, the pulled pork was barely warm. Then it was difficult to eat because the pieces were too big and I was not provided a knife. So I didn’t eat much of it. It was also fatty. The Mac and cheese was good as well as the cornbread. The baked beans were so so. The only think I ate entirely was the corn bread. This restaurant did not meet my expectations.
My friends did not enjoy their meals either. One thought the French fries were too seasoned, another thought the pulled pork was too fatty and barely warm. None of the 5 really enjoyed the food.

Been living down the street for a year and saw the billowing smoke from Rodney's frequently, finally went in today.
The pulled pork is really good, tangy, soft, and smokey a solid 9/10
They lost a star because I was shorted on the brisket, but also the brisket was incredibly dry (seen picture). The flavor was good, 5.5/10. And look I know maybe 1.5oz of meat isn't anything to write about, but over time that adds up; I think customers have the right to know.
Lastly, it was pretty expensive for what it was and the prices per pound are not listed on the board (which just looks decorative) or the menu
