Was recommended here by my daughter who is dairy free while visiting Charleston. I called the store late morning to place an order to pick up later in the afternoon. Because the website offers thst option. Phone rang and rang, finally answering machine said leave a message and we'll call you back. I did, saying that I wanted to order 3 dozen cookies to pick up around 5. Never got a call. Got to the store around 4:30. Just about sold out, as I expected. Asked if I could place an order to pick up in the morning. Sales girl went to get the baker
He made excuses about not having access to the answering machine, only the owner does,he said the phone never rang, never even answered the question about the morning.
I bought 20 cookies for $60- that's discounted for my inconvenience
For over $3 a cookie I would be expecting something spectacular- they are not. Pretty small and ordinary aside from the unusual flavor combinations.
For a Kosher establishment I would expect clean and tidy. It most definitely was not. So the nonesense on the website about tired of corporate life and wanting to take pride and joy in a local establishment is just that...Nonsense. Next time I'll spend my money in local business that represents itself honestly and cares about it's clients. My daughter will have to be disappointed since dairy free was not an option on this day.
Edit after owner's response: can't even believe this person is a business owner in a city that is so welcoming. Imagine calling a customer a liar. Mister...your staff may be wiping down tables and floors but all of us can see the filth in the photo on the front of your freezers. As far as asking again for an order, I told you I was visiting. Plus, after your comments I'll go to Crumbles where they may have only a few varieties but at least they have full shelves all day. You really need a serious attitude adjustment so you stop embarrassing that beautiful city.

The chairs by the window. That’s the move, to eat your treats sitting down like royalty because the people watching is amazing. It’s like live reality TV.
The ice cream is spectacular. All the flavors. The cookies aren’t bad either and if you do both together… well that’s called Nirvana, Taylor.
Oh, they’re dog friendly too. The owner and staff are kind, accommodating and sincere. A must every time I come back.

Great cookies- over 100 kinds. Wonderful coffee - $1.00 cup - a real bargain. Nice owner with a cute dog.

THE MOST AMAZING cookies!!!! Out of this world cookies, and miles better than Crumble- I cannot believe how long it’s taken us to try them and we certainly will keep coming back. The worker helping us was so kind and funny. Our favorites was the smores and the stuffed snickers one! The red velvet ice cream is literally to die for. I cannot believe how much of a hidden gem this place is and I loved supporting this local family run business. The treatment we received in this shop made us feel honestly really special, and we are grateful we stopped in. But most importantly- the cookies are truly out of this world. So warm and soft and fresh. Absolutely delicious.
As an aside- it breaks my heart that there are so many FAKE inaccurate reviews under this business, because of the owner’s religion. And I hope that google takes these reviews down. They are gross and antisemitic.

What more can we say but apricot ginger!?!? Then bourbon s'more!! What about cherry pistachio!?! This is not a trip to grandma's old cookie jar! This is a gourmet experience like no other! The hardest part is trying to decide which cookies to choose. But then the even harder choice is which cookie to eat first! :) We had a great adventure and hope you will too! Shalom
