With summer heat upon us, we had our HVAC unit serviced by a competitor, but their assessment and repair quote seemed excessive. I reached out to 5 Star Charleston Heating & Air for a second opinion, and I'm so glad I did. Scheduling was easy, communication was clear, and the technician was knowledgeable. They found a more cost-effective repair for our HVAC unit. Highly recommend 5 Star Charleston Heating & Air!
Received AC unit maintenance/tuneup and technician was very polite thorough and proficient. On time and knowledgeable. So far have been very satisfied with the service I’ve received and they have not given me reason to switch service provider, YET!!!
Christian was absolutely amazing. He was auper friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything and made me feel confident in his skill, knowledge, and ability to identify and fix the problem. He fixed it up as fast as possible and I am very pleased.
Today Christian performed our semi-annual HVAC service. He found one issue, review alternatives for the issue and corrected the issue. We are very pleased with 5 Starr service and will be asking for Christian as our technician in the future.
Great communication initially to sell the product. Clear and consistent - shoutout to Russell on that. However, horrible execution of the actual project. They advised me it would take a full day to complete, however, the guys installing it cut the drywall out incorrectly which resulted in the need for repair of my drywall. To do that, I needed to arrange it myself via a separate email to a guy they picked out. They paid for the repair but not without multiple attempts to fix the wall such that the paint and textured wall appeared similar to prior to the project which took several separate attempts. At one point, they even assumed I would do the paint repair myself after their mistake. It has taken multiple attempts to get the new grill promised for over the HVAC due to incorrect sizing and I still do not have this over a month after the initial installation.
