Situated on the edge of Charleston Harbor and offering spectacular views of the city, Fort Sumter, and ships arriving from all over the world, Patriots Point has been a favorite place to play for local Charleston golfers and resort guests for years. Located in Mount Pleasant at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge and just five-minutes from downtown, any golf trip to the historic city of Charleston is not complete without a round at this memorable harbor-side golf course.

Just got done playing at this course. I don't get what all the bad reviews are about. It's a fun and challenging course. The club house is nice and the people are great. The views also you can't beat. Coming from mid-missouri, this course is awesome. For under 100 bucks, you can't beat the views and what you get. Had a great time and would totally be back.

Played the course on your typical hot, humid, July day in Charleston. Played the white/gold combos. The sea breeze adds to the challenge, especially 15-18, which offer tremendous views of the bay. Staff friendly and accommodating to a single.

Not worth the money without big improvements. Played on 3/1424. A wide open flat layout. Four nice holes on the whole course (16,17,18 are three). The majority is back and fourth straight holes. The views from the final three holes are very nice. The cart paths appear to be in the early stage of being repaired. Right now they are nearly unusable with large rocks. They should not be charging near $100 for a round here. in March for sure. Go play the municipal for less or pay the extra $30 for a course to get the value from it.

I read all the reviews leading up to our trip and most were terrible. Played PP on 5/11/24. My whole group had a great time playing this course. The greens had been punched 10 days before playing and were therefore bumpy, as one would expect. We are all single digit handicaps and the condition of the course, although not ideal, did not impact how we played at all. The greens still rolled just fine for a course recently aerated. I thought the tee boxes were in solid shape overall. Some better than others but in the acceptable range. The fairway grass was really good to hit off of. Are there weird bumps in the fairways? Yes. I don't know how that gets fixed but they are certainly there. However, the fairways grass was in good condition overall. Sand traps were perfect. The best we played all week. The layout is very open/links style and has fantastic views of the water and bridge. Is $100-$110 steep for the conditions - MAYBE, but we payed $140 to play another well-known more "respected" course in the area and we all liked this one better. Great/friendly people working there too which is a lot more than I can say for some of the other courses we played this week. I look forward to playing Patriot Point on my return trips to Charleston.

Coastal course with lots of pretty vistas, wide-open fairways and greens that were running true. Yes, the cart paths need to be redone and the fairways were bumpy. The course is now well marked and there is an app to give you yardage. Great experience, staff and cute little clubhouse bar. Great to watch the big ships coming in and out of the harbor.
