Stopped by for some appetizers and drinks. The hush puppies with honey butter were delicious. We also had the crab stuffed bacon-wrapped shrimp. The frozen rum runner was amazing. They also have rooftop dining. Our server was super sweet. It’s across from the city market so it’s in a great location.

Food was great. Small portions though. I got the low country shrimp boil, crab and shrimp steam pot boil and a kids meal butter noodles. Meal was $93 before tip. 1 soft drink. The shrimp boil didn’t have much sausage or potatoes. 1 corn in the cob, 1 half sausage link cut in half and 1 potatoes cut in half. Flavor and butter was excellent! Check out simply seafood for bigger portions for same price and get 2 meals out of it!

We stopped by Charleston Crab House after a nearby tour, and it was a great decision! The place was super busy, which is usually a good sign. We’re visiting from out of state and had a craving for seafood, so this spot was perfect. There was a bit of a wait, around 20 minutes, but there are plenty of cool gift shops and a big market right across the street to keep you occupied.
Once we got the text that our table was ready, we were seated promptly. Our waiter was super nice and really informative when we asked about the menu. He recommended we try the frozen rum runner (with passion fruit rum, banana rum, white rum, brandy, OJ, pineapple juice, and some other goodies mixed in), and wow, it was delicious and strong—definitely a winner!
We also tried both the raw and grilled oysters, and both were fantastic, especially the grilled ones. My partner ordered the Carolina Platter, and I went with the grilled seafood trio. We were told these were excellent choices for newcomers, and they did not disappoint! The scallops and shrimp were grilled to perfection, and the redfish was flaky and moist—pairing perfectly with the Charleston red rice. My partner loved her snow crab and crab cakes.
Overall, the entire experience—from the drinks to the food and the friendly staff—was amazing. I’m definitely coming back here the next time I’m visiting or even just passing through Charleston!

My husband and I LOVE a good seafood spot, and this was it! The food was so food, the pasta was absolutely the best I've had in a long time. The cocktails were good, typical restaurant cocktails, but they were really yummy. There was an upstairs, downstairs, and outside eating area, which I also thought was really cool.

My family Recently ate at this restaurant and it was so good! The fried green tomatoes were unlike any other we have eaten here in Charleston and they were tasty. The service was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and calm. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. We all especially enjoyed the shrimp! I had grilled seafood and others in my family had fried and both were delicious.
