The house was amazing! And I got two gluten free which were so so good, the Maui and the Shiitake, out of all 3 I think the Holy Shiitake was a must try especially for gluten free vegetarian options, the garlic aioli and truffle was so delicious.
When we just want to go out and get something that we know will be good, we go to Mellow Mushroom. They are so consistent. You always know what you get will taste great and just as you expected. They have people who truly care about what they do working there. Good people and good food are not that east to find these days. Mellow Mushroom is our go-to when we just need to know our food will be good!! Excellent Job Mellow Mushroom. It's much easier to be mediocre, but it is so appreciated that you go the extra mile and strive for excellence every time.
Today, my son and I visited the Mellow Mushroom Pizza located at 19 Magnolia Road in West Ashley for a late lunch. As frequent visitors, we have always been satisfied with the quality of the food, and this visit was no different. My son ordered the SausageFest Calzone along with the Spinach Artichoke Dip as an appetizer, while I had the Greek Salad and the House Special Pizza. Everything was prepared well and tasted great, as we have come to expect from Mellow Mushroom. Both of us enjoyed our meals with a Coke. Our waitress, Maddie, was very pleasant. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us at the right times, without being intrusive. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. The restaurant wasn’t too busy at that time of the day, making for a relaxed and comfortable meal. All in all, it was another great experience at Mellow Mushroom, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
We ordered their veg out pizza and veg calzone. The pizza was great and the calzone was okay. We liked the set up and the mural paintings on the bar. The setup is more like a cinema lobby. However there was water dripping from duct overhead. Hence four stars. The bar is okay. The service was lagging.
I have been to a few Mellos Mushroom locations but this one has the best atmosphere. The booths were spacious and service was great! We had a limited time to eat before an event and the waiter was on point in taking care of us. The cocktails are pricey for what you get but the pizza and other entrees were good.
