This is one place you can count in downtown where you can find food pretty late. Whenever we go to Henry’s we end up eating at this place. There are so many drawbacks for this place. Wait time is like around 45 minutes or more on weekends and 5-10 mins on weekdays. Taste not so super it’s just okay you can eat it if your are hungry or like drunk.
And the service is also just okay not so friendly.
But the ambience is pretty good it really takes you to 90s new York!

Found this restaurant by accidentally when I walked around Farmers Market. It’s across the street of Farmers Market, attracted by the big sign of PIZZA outside when I was hungry, it s hidden in the corner. The atmosphere of this restaurant looks very comfy and neat, working people are nice and friendly, they told me the restaurant has opened 20 years ago, it’s amazing! Their slice pizza is incredible delicious the best ever! I’d like to go and have them again whenever have chance.

I absolutely loved it here!! James was awesome. He had an amazing sense of humor and welcoming vibe to him. My boyfriend and I were looking for a late night bite after a night out and found this amazing pizza spot! The pizza was so yummy and had such a crispy crust to it. It was quick and delicious despite the fact that he was working all alone doing everything back there. Was a great way to end the night. We had good conversations and laughs with James, we even went back the next day!

On my visit to Charleston from Idaho, I've eaten at Giovanni's twice. I have to say this may be as close as you're going to get to the real deal of N.Y. pizza. (which I'm born and raised and I know pizza), This is a great a little hole in the wall, ( that's a compliment). You will not be disappointed, the staff has that good old N.Y. personality, Lol.
Honestly, it just good food, the price may be a little more than you might be used to, we paid $22 for two slices (BIG slices) and two drinks.
Way to go Giovanni's...

This place has obviously been around a long time. My husband was too excited to get pizza from here. He stated that when he was younger they used to come eat here a lot after school. He tasted the pizza and stated that it still tastes the same. He was happy.
