Ok.. so much positive things to say about this gem. First of all their mint strawberry lemonade was amazing. Second of all they treated our huge group with respect even though we had a lot of kids with strollers. Very cute and well taken care of shop. Though I did not try their pastries but they looked delicious.

I have been going to Kudu since college in '09 and it has never let me down and also brings me such comfort! I love the old heavy door leading into the cool interior, always great service and AC, I used to get the dirty chai but more recently I tried the tilleul tea and have tried the wine and beer selections. Got a PB&J homemade pop tart and it was divine🌓. The courtyard with the vines and fountain is a little secret garden vibe, shaded, little birds. Perfect for intimate chatting and studying, this is in my top 5 places people should visit in downtown Chas for true authentic charm. I highly recommend! ⛲️

I'm a huge fan of matcha lattes, they're my morning ritual! I've explored quite a few variations of matcha, so stumbling upon this cozy little spot was a delightful surprise. The snug ambiance made me feel right at home. When I ordered my latte, I noticed it lacked the sweetness I usually enjoy. However, they had a neat setup where you could customize your drink with sweeteners. While some might appreciate the authentic bitterness, I believe clarity on sweetness preferences during ordering would enhance the experience. Nonetheless, aside from that, the place exuded charm and warmth.

Nice little coffee shop in downtown Charleston. Good selection of espresso drinks good recommendation for a lavender latte. Excellent service and quick service. A must-stop if you are looking for a quick drink of coffee downtown.

I don't think we could've found a better coffee shop in Charleston! This was a local recommendation for us, and I am so happy that we got to stop in here. The baristas were super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. I ordered an iced chai, we both got the quiche, and I also got a peach pop tart on my way out. We decided to sit outside since the weather was beautiful. They had the cutest outdoor seating which really tied the whole experience together. There is also indoor seating but we couldn't pass up sitting outside on such a nice day. The iced chai was delicious and the quiche was cheesy and yummy too! Parking was a bit of a scavenger hunt but it's totally worth it!
