Second time in Charleston. First time at Callie’s. I went at 8:30 on Sunday and was expecting a line but it wasn’t busy at all yet. The staff was super friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my hot honey chicken biscuit.
A woman offered me a sample of their hot chocolate but I declined at the moment. After she left I realized it was the owner as I saw her face on the cover of one of the cookbooks on the shelves.
To the owner: I ended up trying the hot chocolate - it was excellent. 😍
Moving to Charleston soon and this will be one of my favorite breakfast places on weekends and when friends visit. 😊

Was very excited about trying this place! Made the move and went for breakfast. We ordered two hot honey biscuits, ringing in at $34 after tip. (No drinks)
For a hot honey biscuit, I was shocked that nothing about it was hot, except for the honey. In fact, the chicken and biscuit were both about room temp! I wanted a hot breakfast. Not a sitting leftover. Really disappointed. Not freshly cooked and very dry, both biscuit and chicken. The biscuit was crumbling. If it would have been hot and freshly cooked, I would give it 4 stars. But instead, overpriced for poor quality.
Biscuit flavor is great, definitely recommend supporting their business ventures by picking some up at costco with their biscuit mix. Service was great and they were polite and quick. Cute aesthetic, just was disappointed at $15 a biscuit. McDonald’s has hot and ready breakfast, I guess.

When visiting the South you got to try biscuits and we had heard these were really good. We had the directions on our Google maps but nearly missed it because it's a tiny storefront and their signage is terrible. The only place I saw it written was on the door. It'd be great if they had a big sign above or sticking out like other ones in the area. We literally walked right past it. The biscuit was good but I was expecting it to be amazing. There is a lot of variety but we just tried the traditional one. I would probably try it again and try different flavors.

Blew in right before closing and grabbed a mix of some biscuits and a breakfast biscuit. The pimento spread was delicious! Glad I stopped in!

I loved these biscuits. We actually came here twice on the same trip because they were that good. This location is very small but it’s mostly just a takeout place. There was a line but we didn’t have to wait too long. We got our food and ate outside. These biscuits were fresh, hot, and melted in my mouth. Eggs were well seasoned, the sausage was moist and not too salty, and the cheese was savory. They provided superb and efficient service even though it was busy. Reasonable prices. Too bad this isn’t a national chain, that way I can get these more often.
